About me

Hi, I’m Rob.

I help passionate education leaders prove what’s possible when students growing up in poverty have access to quality education and opportunity.

Until recently, I was the Chief Program and Strategy Officer for a management consulting organization focused on improving learning opportunities for marginalized K12 students in U.S. education systems. During my 8-year tenure, we tripled our team size, partnerships, and overall investment from partners, achieving some of the most promising results in the field.

But as my career grew, so did my distance from direct impact. I missed being shoulder to shoulder with education leaders and hearing directly from students, families, teachers, and school leaders. And my portfolio was solely U.S.-based, while my 20-year history of work in Latin America tells me that we have so much to learn from each other across contexts and continents.

In 2024, I decided to fully dedicate myself to my passion: providing coaching and consulting services to some of the most inspiring education leaders across the globe.

I leverage my experiences as a former public high school teacher, trained anthropologist, MBA, and nonprofit executive. I bring deep empathy to the table, understanding personally how hard it can be to move the needle in broken and under-resourced systems. But I’m not daunted: I have a toolkit from human-centered design and a resource-optimization lens that has helped dozens of leaders achieve uncommon results.

I work in English and Spanish.

I love exploring new places and my home city of Baltimore, cheering for our sports teams, cooking up a storm
(I want to be on the show Chopped), and spending quality time with my wife and daughter.
